N.Y. & C. offers authentic New York- and Chicago-style pizza for take-out or eating in. One wall of the restaurant is covered with old photos of New York, along with old Playbills, subway maps and Yankee memorabilia, while the opposite wall has images of Chicago and White Sox memorabilia. The bar and tables are covered with old newspapers from both towns. Likewise, the menu is split with specialties inspired by each great city. For New York, the menu has a special salad, hot subs, a New York calzone and New York cheesecake. Chicago has a matching selection, with a Chi Town Stromboli and a deep-dish chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. Chicago pizza is the famous deep-dish style, while the New York is a thin crust. Specialty pizzas are offered for each kind, or customers can create their own with a selection of toppings. A small bar in the back has plenty of beers and wine, with Happy Hour from 3pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday. Six televisions in the restaurant feature sports and news. Adam Milstein, Chris Shanley, Philip Boyd and Robyn Landrum teamed up to create this unique restaurant and bar in 2009, replacing Toi Thai, which had been there for 15 years.
