Star Liquor has been a part of the Main Street architecture since 1977. Located at the corner of Bay Street, this small market provides convenience to both locals and out-of-area beach visitors alike. It carries a large selection of fine wines, beer and spirits, as well as soda, snacks, bread and other grocery items. Its owner, Ramon Gastelum, is very friendly, and knows many of his regulars by name. An uncommon thing about the store: Every year, Ramon throws a backyard bash in the parking lot of the store, with snacks and refreshments for neighbors and regular customers.
