Vanilla Bake Shop

Vanilla Bake Shop was opened by wife-and-husband team Amy and Jeremy Berman after spending several years as a dessert catering company. Inside the pink-and-white bakery, a case displays cupcakes, tarts, cakes, pies, macarons, cookies and brownies. Daily cupcake flavors include spicy carrot, mint chocolate, toasted coconut, blackberry passionfruit, meyer lemon raspberry, and strawberries and cream. Fresh baked cakes are available in four different sizes, from 6" to 14", with many similar flavors to the cupcake selections, along with recipes like Southern red velvet, chocolate truffle and banana chocolate chip. Gift boxes are available, along with local delivery and special-event catering. The Vanilla Bake Shop has been featured on such television programs as <i>Martha Stewart</i> and Food Network's <i>Cake Challenge</i>.
