Please everyone boycott this circus. Let them see that there is no place forRead More "entertainment" that is based on the suffering of these magnificent creatures - or any animal.
Woody McBreairty July 9, 2014 at 10:06 pm
People who object to animal cruelty will not attend this circus or any other that uses abused animalRead More acts & calls them entertainment. Taking children to see abused animal acts teaches them it is acceptable human behavior. The only hope to eliminate the use & abuse of tortured animals in the circus is to tell children the truth & teach them that it is wrong. Children naturally love animals & they will understand

They claim on the one hand that the animals are well-treated, then turn around and say that theyRead More won't be able to bring them anymore once the ban on bull hooks, "goads and prods" goes into effect? I have seen the wounds caused by bull hooks from close up- people sitting in the audience can't, but if they were able to, they would feel sorry for the way the poor animals are treated. Many dogs like the mental exercises of training and working with a human, so I don't argue against canine performers, but elephants and tigers?? Come on, I thought we had long ago advanced beyond that nonsense!

If ever there was a cautionary tale about death and dying, this one is it. Having more money thanRead More heart (and common sense), his loved ones continue to inadvertently torture him. The acrimonious shuffling around of his half dead body is a selfish act.

Why now? My goodness they give these stars out to one hit wonders from decades ago now. At one timeRead More you had to achieve truly remarkable success to have a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Now days these so called stars seem to be able to buy there way into this once honored tradition. Next Kim Kardashian will be getting a star I'm sure.

Santa Monica residents should be aware that 553 12th Street has 3 vicious, unleashed dogs thatRead More charged and attacked me and my dog while we walked by on the public sidewalk. The owners of the dogs didn't even care, and were not responsible enough to control their dogs, and keep them on leash. SM Police is investigating, and would appreciate any feedback from other residents with information to come forward. All dogs are tan in color, the 2 most aggressive ones are shepherd/pit mix, and one boxer. Call Police at 310-395-9963

I agree with mimi's comments. Where is management in allowing this to happen, without doing theirRead More due diligence? Fred Segal staff should had realize the liability in allowing this to proceed, THEY are lucky no one was hurt. But as we always read in the news, somebody was asleep at the switch. THERE IS NO EXCUSE.
