They are NOT the same thing, although they may have many of the same wind players. The Gala event you "Patched" is for the SAMOHI Orchestra, not the Concert Bands. Usually the Concert Bands will have their own "finale" around the same point in time. So take care when you refer to them. Don't get them confused wth one another.

The Samohi Concert Bands have their final concert of the year on Wednesday, May 29 @7pm. The Senior Gala on June 1st is for Orchestra students, some of whom double as Band students.

It is not necessary to go to UCLA or USC film school in order to learn the craft.

Someones rights should not be put up to public vote. It has nothing to do with religion or the Bible and everything to do with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
I have been legally married in California for going on 5 years (together for 12 years) now and I would like to know how my marriage to my wife has impacted your life? If you consider that gay relationships are just "sexual arrangements" you are way off base.

The most important thing to me is people who spread hate should lose their tax exemption, as Dan said. I know gay kids at Samo, and not all seem secure enough to take this kind of hate being directed at them for how they were born.
Besides, it's against California law to encourage violence against people because of their gender or sexual orientation. People who oppose Westboro are not equal to this hate-crime encouraging group--they are superior in rights, according to the law. Therefore, the police should rein in Westboro the way they did Occupy, which was not violating any law.
