It was heartening to see Santa Monica HighRead More School students, Santa Monica College students, teenagers and young adults from the Pico Youth & Family Center, and our friends and neighbors from the Pico Neighborhood Association and the Church in Ocean Park, hotel workers from Unite Here!, and members of the Committee for Racial Justice, the Santa Monica Bay Area Human Relations Council, the NAACP Santa Monica-Venice Branch, and others.
