Gregg Heacock
Gregg Heacock, teacher, writer, and community activist, is a long-time resident of Santa Monica and president of Mid-City Neighbors. His editorials on education have appeared in the L.A. Times, and he was a host and co-producer for KPFK's award-winning "Catch-222: Growing Up in L.A. Schools."  Now retired from full-time teaching, he has been working on education reform with a focus on Family Literacy, Professional Development, Grammar, Education Reform. Presently, he is working on a book called The Logical Connection: An English Teacher's Guide to Enlightenment.
