Melissa Mandim, Neighbor

Melissa is a full-time, international student at Santa Monica College who blogs on Patch about campus and student activities. She lives by the ocean, off Third Street, and will celebrate her two year anniversary as a Santa Monica resident (fondly called SAMO) in January 2012. She intends to celebrate with a Virgin Mary cocktail and a view from The Penthouse. She is passionate about social entrepreneurism—bringing about social, economic and political change that most only dream of. Seeing the ocean every day is another one of her goals!
