Yummy Cupcakes in Santa Monica has shuttered its Wilshire Boulevard location as part of a plan to relocate to a smaller, newer space.
The company made the announcement Tuesday on its Facebook Page, stating:
We are franchising and opening stores all over the country. We need to be sure that all our stores going forward have a certain look and feel. The SaMo location was just too big & didn't fit our brand image. We decided it would be better to relocate to a smaller & newer property. We had a great opportunity to lease it to a great tenant & timing didn't allow us to give notice. We have another location very close at 26th and San Vicente that is available and of course Burbank and delivery. We hope to be able to announce the new spot soon. We appreciate everyone's understanding and support!!!!
Those who still need their cupcake fix are being asked to visit the Yummy location in Brentwood at 220 26th St.
