James 'Whitey' Bulger Arrested in Santa Monica: See Site Photos

See imagery from The Princess Eugenia, an apartment complex where the alleged mob boss was arrested Wednesday night.

James "Whitey" Bulger, the alleged mob boss and Top Ten Fugitive who has been on the run since the mid-'90s, was arrested Wednesday night at the Princess Eugenia apartment complex in Santa Monica. His longtime companion, Catherine Greig, was also arrested.

They are due to make an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in downtown Los Angeles at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

The Princess Eugenia is located at 1012 Third St., just south of Washington Avenue.

On Thursday morning, media swarmed the apartment complex, trying to gather information from tenants, including in which apartment Bulger and Greig had been staying. Police officers were still stationed outside the complex as well.

Look above for images from the Princess Eugenia. Also included in the gallery are photos of the Pacific Ocean, and , all of which are less than a mile from the apartment complex. The FBI previously said Bulger "maintains his physical fitness by walking on beaches and in parks" with Greig.
