SMC Cancels Weekend Events, Offers Support Services

Counseling services will be available on campus this weekend and Monday. A hotline also is available for students and staff.

All activities on the main campus of Santa Monica College have been canceled for the weekend in response to today's shootings. All activities on the campus will be rescheduled.

Students are asked to wait for confirmation from instructors about final exam schedules. Normal campus activities are expected to resume Monday.

Counseling services will be available for students and employees at SMC's Bundy campus on the second floor from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Counseling services will be available on the main campus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

The college has also set up a 24-hour support hotline at (866) 315-7370
for students and employees.
